The multi-dock will request a restart when the hostname is changed. ver Ħ HOSTNAME In the Hostname field, enter the hostname that the Multi-Dock Network will use. The Time Zone setting will be applied to cameras docked at this multi-dock and reflected in video timestamps. TIME ZONE In the Time Zone drop-down box, select the time zone for your location. If the connection test fails, double check that the information has been entered correctly and that traffic to and from the dock is not blocked by a firewall. Press Test Connection to ensure that the Multi-Dock Network can communicate with the server. The default port is After entering the appropriate information, press Save. Enter your VERIPATROL Server information in the fields under VERIPATROL Server. To configure the Multi-Dock Network for VIEVU VERIPATROL: In the VIEVU Software drop-down box, select VERIPATROL. If login fails, the credentials may have already been changed. LOG IN Open an internet browser and navigate to the IP address of the Multi-Dock Network. Once you have the IP address, you may access the interface and log in to configure the multi-dock. The Multi-Dock Network is configured via an internet browser. To easily determine the IP address, you may connect a USB flash drive to the USB port in the rear of the multi-dock a text file will be created containing the IP address assigned to the Multi-Dock Network. The multi-dock will use DHCP to acquire an IP address on the network. To set up the Multi-Dock Network, connect an Ethernet cable and power cable to the rear of the multi-dock. The multi-dock will be connected to an Ethernet cable and communicate with the network to automatically transfer video files to the VIEVU Solution or VERIPATROL. 3 GETTING STARTED Multi-Dock Setup The Multi-Dock Network is a network enabled docking station for VIEVU cameras.
